Get Your Gloves On: How to Re-Examine Your Garden of Ideas
Your actions stem from your values, and your values stem from everyone you’ve ever known and the things they taught you about life.
Your belief system is an incredible botanical garden of ideas planted over decades that have branched and flowed in unique ways.
But not everything in that garden is good.
Not everything that takes root is a flower, and not everything planted is worth keeping.
Your garden houses some horticultural marvels, but it also harbours some weeds - ideas that take root and then destabilise you or choke your opportunities before they can burst through the surface.
💡
You should regularly re-examine your beliefs. Consider what is worth keeping, what should be discarded, and which lessons might be best to retest.
Weeds fester when you’re not actively gardening.
Get your gloves on, and keep pruning.
